You can eat really delicious here. Unfortunately, you can't get a table spontaneously without a reservation - even if it seems empty - and the menu is no longer as family-friendly as it used to be, but more geared towards adults who want to enjoy a good menu.

You have to visit this restaurant! A restaurant with a small but fine menu, the trout with almonds is a must, excellent fried and not very small. Pleasant ambience, staff friendly, competent and fast. Price / performance ratio absolutely okay. Beverage selection not to complain about. As more events take place in the boathouse, a reservation is required in any case. On our next visit to Lüneburg we will definitely visit the boathouse again.

Food 4 *, service 1 *. So I would summarize it briefly. I was there with some business partners from the Netherlands in the early evening. On each table on the terrace was a "reserved" label. 3 (out of about 10) were occupied. After all, no one was reserved, one has just stopped, so that it looks much sought after. There was not a table inside. The hammer, however, was the employee who took our order. One of my guests is diabetic and made it clear (I am diabetic, therefore ...) and wanted to know what ingredients are in a dish. Answer succinctly, "do I look like the cook?" ? I almost got my jaw down, it was so uncomfortable for me. Really we have not experienced anything on repeated demand, which is a joke IMHO. The quality of the food was, as mentioned, then tidy. Allegedly locally produced, freshly prepared. But otherwise...

Stayed here on Christmas Day 2. The menu was delicious. Very extensive wine list. A highlight with the outdoor facilities in summer.
